Michael Glenn Cox was born April 11, 1954 in Guymon to Billy Joe and Elvina Mae (Morris) Cox.  Michael attended school at Plainview schools through the sixth grade then started school in  Stratford, Texas school district graduating with the class of 1972. His family attended North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Michael was also an air medic working with several air ambulances across the area.

The past years Michael was usually seen working on the family farm with his father.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his step-mother and maternal and paternal grandparents.
